Space Imaging Middle East participates in Location Middle East 2006

In a joint venture with UAE Air Force’s Space Reconnaissance Centre, Space Imaging Middle East participated in the Location Middle East exhibition which took place in Abu Dhabi on 11th – 12th September. 

Location Middle East 2006 is an annual international conference and exhibition in the field of positioning, navigation and timing technologies for the Middle East region.

The exhibition, jointly organized by GIS Development, India and Space Reconnaissance Centre, UAE, was inaugurated by Maj. Ali Al Shehhi from the Space Reconnaissance Centre, UAE.

During the course of two days, there were five keynote sessions with over 20 keynote speakers, one technology show and two workshops one on Design & Development of Galileo – European Satellite Navigation System.

Along with keynote session Location Middle East 2006 also hosted an exhibition providing an opportunity to introduce to the existing users, the latest solutions, services and expertise in the field. The conference will bring together researchers, academicians, users, service providers & manufacturers, to share and exchange their views and ideas on the latest policies, developments & practical implications.
